Blöde Frage, ich habs jetzt selbst nicht überprüft, gibts für den Drucker kein PPD-File ? Mit ner PPd-Datei wäre das ganze ja normal einfach zu machen.

Hallo Liste,

nachdem ich mit Eurer tatkräftigen Unterstützung Cups auf der Raspberry
Pi zum laufen bekommen habe, Möchte ich jetzt auch noch den
Druckertreiber für meinen Canon MF4150 installieren.

Leider sind die Treiber für diesen Drucker nur als dev-Archiv für i386
und amd64 verfügbar. Bei der Übersetzung der ebenfalls verfügbaren
Quellen
(http://www.canon.de/Support/Consumer_Products/products/Fax__Multifunctionals/Laser/LaserBase_MF_series/i-SENSYS_MF4150.aspx?type=download&page=1)
bin ich dank der Hilfen im Internet zu den erforderlichen Änderungen am
Quelltext relativ weit gekommen (im Wesentlichen:
http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-6547661.html#6547661). Jetzt läuft
make gen und make install durch, erzeugt aber keinen funktionierenden
Treiber. Eine wirkliche oder besser für mich erkennbare Fehlermeldung
gibt make aber auch nicht aus (vgl. unten).

Habt Ihr noch einen Tipp für mich, woran es liegen kann?
