MPEG-Encoder-Karte

Hallo. Ich würde gerne meine VHS-Kassetten auf DVD überspielen. Da allerdings meine Festplatte zu klein für eine RAW-Aufzeichnung ist und mein Prozessor für eine Echtzeitkompression mit DVD-Auflösung zu langsam ist wäre wohl eine Hardware-Encoder-Karte die richtige Wahl. Weis jemand was da so für Linux in Frage kommt und auch welche Programme für den Schnitt empfehlenswert sind? Vielen Dank und mit freundlichen Grüßen, Silvio

Hi, gibt es eine Möglichkeit, eine ssh-Sitzung fortzusetzen? Ich möchte einen Prozess per ssh starten und dann meine lokale Konsole schließen. Später möchte ich mcih wieder einloggen und wieder die Kontrolle über den Prozess bekommen ... Gruß, Metti

Hallo! Mein Onlinedienst (Alice von Hansenet) scheint unzuverlässige DNS zu haben. Wie kann man einen DNS testweise gezielt etwas fragen? Damit würde ich gerne die schlechte Erreichbarkeit nachweisen. Also ohne den Rechner jedes Mal umzukonfigurieren? Thomas

Hallo Gemeinde! Ich sehe mich leider gezwunden Euch mal wieder mit meinen Probs zu belästigen. Ihr wisst doch noch, ich will für die 4ma eines Kumpels nen Linux-PC als Router konfigurieren. Aber ich probiere und probiere, aber ich kriegs einfach nich hin. ;-( Also hier nochmal kurz zur vorhandenen Hardware: PC unter Suse 9.3 prof mit 3 Netzwerkkarten. eth0 (192.168.10.2) verbunden mit DSL-Router (192.168.10.1) eth1 (192.168.11.1) 100MBit-Netz eth2 (192.168.12.1) GigaBit-Netz Fall 1 ====== Router ist DHCP-Server Routingtabelle 192.168.11.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 eht1 192.168.12.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 eth2 default Gateway ist 192.168.10.1 Resultat: Ich komm zwar vom Server ins Rindernet, aber von eth1 und 2 nicht Fall 2 ====== Router ist kein DHCP-Server Routingtabelle 192.168.10.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 eth0 192.168.11.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 eth1 192.168.12.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 eth2 Tja und was kommt nun als default Gateway rein? hab die 192.168.10.1 (also Router) probiert -> nix Erfolg hab die 212.185.47.88 (also t-online) probier -> auch nix Langsam aber extrem sicher hab ich die Schnau*e gestrichen voll! Zu allem Übel zweifle ich an YAST. Ich kann xinetd nicht aktivieren. Somit fällt swat auch flach. Hab samba dann zwar zu Fuß gemacht, aber mal eben nen neuen smb-user anlegen bzw. den ganzen Spaß bei ca. 20 Usern administrieren wird "unhandlich". Dachte erst, ich hätt mir irgendwas zerkonfiguriert also Neuinstall. Nützt nix. Woran liegt das??? Und dann ist ja eigentlich noch das Ziel auf eth1 und eth2 n DHCP-Server laufen zu lassen, ABER unter YAST kann man scheinbar bekannten PC's keine festen IP's zuordnen. OK, mir doch sch*iß egal - mach ichs eben wieder zu Fuß!! Also mal eben die dhcp.conf mit Host ... usw. bearbeitet. aber das ist vollkommen sinnlos, da der Rechenknecht stur nur die Einstellungen von YAST nimmt. Ich gebs ja zu, ich hatte mir das alles VIEL einfacher gedacht und vor meinem Kumpel den Mr.Wichtig raushäng lassen, aber man wächst ja mit seinen Problemen. :-S Es wäre sehr nett, wenn sich hier jemand (trotz meiner GMX-Adresse) findet, der mir hilfreich unter die vor Wut klitsch-nassen Arme greift.
