Hallo, ich versuche grad das Setup von Lotus Domino auf einem SLOE4 auszuführen. (Das ist ein United Linux bzw. etwa SuSE 8.1) mail:/ # su - notes notes@mail:~> cd /local/notesdata notes@mail:/local/notesdata> /opt/lotus/bin/http httpsetup /opt/lotus/notes/latest/linux/http: error while loading shared libraries: libpthread.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Die Datei selbst ist vorhanden und hat ausreichend Rechte: mail:/ # find / -name libpthread* /lib/libpthread.so.0 mail:/ # ls -l /lib/libpthread.so.0 -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 102052 Nov 8 13:22 /lib/libpthread.so.0 Welche Umgebungsvariable ist hier verantwortlich? $PATH, $LD_LIBRARY_PATH, $LD_RUN_PATH hab ich schon mal in dem Startskript um ':/lib' erweitert und exportiert. Hat auch nicht geholfen. :-( Wie finde ich heraus, wo das Programm nach der Lib sucht? Rico

X-Programme als root ausführen

Hallo, ich habe hier bei mir (Debian mit kde 3.1) folgenden Effekt: Wenn ich im Konsolen-Fenster mich per su als root erhebe und dort versuche irgendein X-Programm zu starten bricht das ab mit: Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Die selben Programme als normaler User aus der Konsole starten funktioniert ohne Probleme. Auch wenn ich mich als root am kde Anmelde (es läugt übrigens kdm) funktioniert es. Nun will ich mich aber nicht jedes mal ummelden, nur weil ich mal ein Programm mit root-Rechten laufen lassen (z.b. synaptic) will. Grüße aus Kamenz Bernd Ledig

Debian Probleme...

Hallo, mit meinem Debian Woody habe ich noch ein paar kleinere Probleme: 1. Um mich ins Internet per wvdial einzuwählen, gehöre ich den korrekten Gruppen an. Soweit funktioniert alles. Mein Modem hängt an der zweiten seriellen Schnittstelle, also /dev/ttyS1. Owner ist root, Group ist dialout. Die Rechte standen auf rw-r-----. Soll heißen ich konnte mich als non root nicht ins Netz einwählen da ich nicht auf /dev/ttyS1 schreiben konnte. Wenn ich für dialout Schreibrechte setze, so werden die aber nicht beibehalten sondern scheinbar sporadisch wieder zurückgeändert. Woran liegt das? 2. Ich benutze enlightenment als Windowmanager. Die Einträge für die GNOME Menus liegen im Homeverzeichnis unter .enlightement. Die für die Debian Menus unter /var/lib/enlightenment. Wenn ich dort die Menus meinen Bedürfnissen anpasse, werden auch diese nach unvorhersehbarer Zeit einfach mit den Default Menus überschrieben! Woran liegt das? Danke für eure Hilfe, Martin

Hi, der diesjährige LinuxTag findet vom 10. und 13. Juli wiederum im Messe- und Kongresszentrum in Karlsruhe statt. Wir von der KaLUG haben uns vorgenommen, dass der LUG-Stand dieses Jahr noch besser werden soll. Daher haben wir an alle LUGs folgende Fragen und bitten um eure Unterstützung: * Diese Mail wurde an alle Adressen versendet, die auf www.linux.de unter den LUGs gelistet sind. Wenn Sie überhaupt nicht wissen, wieso Sie diese Mail erhalten oder was Linux bzw. eine LUG überhaupt ist, teilen Sie mir dies bitte mit, damit wir unseren Datenbestand korrigieren können. * Bitte tragt eure LUG mit allen Kontaktdaten unter www.linuxwiki.de im Linux-Wiki ein, damit wir zur Messe aktuelle Daten zur Verfügung haben. Wenn Ihr noch nie an einem Wiki mitgearbeitet habt, dann empfiehlt sich die Lektüre der c't 2/03, Seite 176. Lest im Linuxwiki erst einmal mit, indem Ihr auf den Link 'Aktuelle änderungen' klickt, und probiert den Sandkasten aus.
