[Lug-dd] xterm: Zeichengroesse schon beim Aufruf angeben

Hallo, In xterm kann ich mit CTRL+rechte Maustaste in einem Menü die Schriftgröße einstellen. (Tiny,Small,Medium,Large,Huge...). Ich möchte dies allerdings bereits beim Aufruf tun. xterm's Parameter erlauben u.A. das Angeben eines spezifischen Zeichen- satzes (-fn xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) - wie komme ich an die o.g. Hi! hilft nix :-((( Ich bekomme kein Prompt für wvdial 1.4.1, t-online unter Konsole. Ziemlich alles hab ich schon probiert: Ask Password = 1, Ask Password = yes , Login Prompt = yes und und und Es liegt vielleicht nicht an wvdial.conf eher an /etc/ppp/options :-) Einwal mit Password im Klartext ist problemlos, aber das will ich nicht, Prompt waere fuer mich lieber.... Zur Zeit leuft es bei mir ueber freenet, da in dem Fall Password wertlos ist. Für jeden Hinweis bedanke ich mich recht herzlich im Voraus. Konstantin

[Lug-dd] Welche Grafikkarte-Board-Kombination?

Hallo, ich moechte mir nen Rechner kaufen. Mein Bruder hat nen Athlon/1000, KT7... mit GeForce 2 MX (AGP), auf dem /usr/bin/gears nur 300 rausholt (volle Prozessorauslastung, laut Suse sollen es etwa 1500 fuer einen PIII/500 sein). In den logs findet sich so sinngemaess "AGP Bridge not supported, trying unsupported" (SuSE 7.0 mit Patches von der Webseite). Unter Windoofs funktioniert das Ding. Koennt ihr mir eine Hardware-Kombination empfehlen, die auch unter Linux auf dem neuen "richtig" funktionieren wird? Sollte man Pi mal Daumen eher eine PCI-Grafikkarte nehmen? Hallo, des nächtens soll der Cron nach Viren suchen, dazu habe ich einen Eintrag in der Root-Crontab (auf einer Zweile): 0 1 * * * /usr/bin/uvscan --summary /home > /var/log/antivir/homedir_`date +\%d.\%m.\%Y`.log Raus kommt dann aber sowas: $: less homedir_28.09.2001.log Summary report on /home/* 0 files were on the disk. Ein Test mit der Hand klappt aber: mail:/var/log/antivir # /usr/bin/uvscan --summary /home/pummel /home/pummel/eicar.com Found: EICAR test file NOT a virus. Summary report on /home/pummel/* File(s) Total files: ........... 26 Clean: ................. 25 Not scanned: ........... 0 Possibly Infected: ..... 1 Wenn mir jetzt jemand den entscheidenden Tipp geben kann .... Moin, Irgendwie scheint mein mutt zu spinnen. Ich habe mir ein paar Maillinglisten definiert: subscribe lug-dd(a)schlittermann.de cracker(a)rncmm2.urz.tu-dresden.de dalug(a)mathematik.tu-darmstadt.de Jetzt will ich folgendes erreichen: 1. Bestimmte Header auslassen, wenn ich in eine Liste poste: send-hook !(~l) 'my_hdr X-Confirmation-Request: yes' 2. Wenn ich an die lug-dd poste einen bestimmten Header einfügen: send-hook lug-dd(a)schlittermann.de 'my_hdr Bcc: hille42(a)web.de'# Beides scheint nur recht sporadisch zu funktionieren. Hi! i have some problem with wvdial (debian, potato, 2.2.19) Ask Password = 1 Password = but i get no prompt, why? Only if enter password in wvdial.conf get i connect to internet, but password in wvdial.conf is't the good idee :-((( Ciao, Konstantin
